Thank you for your interest in making a report of animal cruelty in Kentucky. Our team of investigators responds to these complaints on an as submitted basis, and may assign one complaint a higher priority than another based on the severity of the complaint.

Please note that you may not get a followup call from us depending on the complaint details.

Also, please note that you should report animal problems such as a dog bite, barking dog or loose stray to the appropriate local agency. We do not respond to animal bites, barking dog calls or stray animal calls.
Animal Cruelty, neglect and fighting complaints should be reported to your local animal control agency FIRST. If you feel they are not taking the appropriate action, please open a complaint with us and we will follow up.

For animal bite reports, stray animal pickup and barking dog complaints in Louisville, please contact Louisville Metro Animal Services at (502) 361-1318.

For animal bite reports, stray animal pickup and barking dog complaints in any other County in Kentucky, please contact your local Police or Sheriff's Department at their non-emergency number so they can reach your local animal shelter for assistance.
